Through the DesignLab, we had access to a wide range of internal and external projects. One external project I worked on involved joining the Marketing and Communication team of Citizen Science Netherlands (CS-NL). CS-NL is a non-profit initiative dedicated to mapping and connecting all citizen science activities, projects, communities, and resources across the Netherlands, with the aim of strengthening collaboration and visibility within the field.
In this role, I contributed to both marketing and communication tasks. I was primarily responsible for updating and maintaining the website, ensuring that project descriptions, resources, and partner information stayed current and accessible. Additionally, I wrote articles, news items, and event announcements for the website and summaries for the monthly newsletter, helping inform and engage the broader citizen science community.
